I wrote this book to help guide the
average person through adult care.
I learned about adult care while taking care of my father as he went from living independently, to assisted living, to a nursing home, and finally as he succumbed to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. I was fortunate to have the time and resources to participate in all aspects of his end of life. I found myself in uncharted waters most of the time, but with help from our attorney and our accountant; I was able to provide him with a comfortable transition from life to death.
I encourage you to read this book and use it as a tool to help you and your family to make decisions regarding your elders’ care. The better prepared you are, and the sooner you start, the better you will do.
I am not an expert in this field, but I have traveled the paths of adult care. Please learn from my experiences as yours will be similar. |
